Financial Advisor

Overview:

Our client are seeking a qualified Financial Adviser to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert financial advice to clients, developing personalized financial plans, and have good organisational skills.

 

This role offers the flexibility of part-remote working, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation and Relationship Management:
    • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their financial goals and circumstances.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing support and advice.
    • Provide tailored financial advice across a range of products including investments, pensions, insurance, and estate planning.

 

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Analyze clients’ financial status, developing comprehensive financial plans to meet their goals.
    • Monitor financial markets and trends to provide up-to-date advice and strategies.
    • Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios and adjust plans as necessary.

 

  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure all financial advice complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and financial transactions.
    • Prepare and present reports to clients, detailing financial plans, performance, and recommendations.

 

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for new client acquisition.
    • Participate in networking events and industry forums to promote the firm’s services.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement business development strategies.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is desirable
    • Level 4 Financial Advice diploma as a minimum. CII or LIBF
  • Experience:
    • Experience as a Financial Adviser or in a similar role would be preferred.
    • Proven track record of providing high-quality financial advice and building client relationships.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Strong organisational skills

 

Additional Requirements:
  • Competent Adviser Status (CAS)
  • Valid SPS
